1. Who we are

AI Pilot Post (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides a web application that helps product sellers create AI-assisted social posts from a product catalog and schedule them to connected platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our marketing website or use the AI Pilot Post service (the “Service”).

Contact: support@aipilotpost.com

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), and account preferences.
  • Business and catalog data: product names, brands, descriptions, prices, discounts, categories, product photos, and related marketing fields you upload or enter.
  • Connected platform data: when you connect Facebook or Instagram, we receive tokens and profile/page identifiers needed to publish on your behalf, plus metadata returned by those platforms’ APIs.
  • Generated content: captions, images, and post drafts created through the Service, including review and schedule history.
  • Billing information: plan selection and payment status. Card details are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
  • Usage and device data: log data such as IP address, browser type, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, and feature usage needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
  • Communications: messages you send us by email or other contact channels you choose.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Authenticate accounts and secure access
  • Generate captions and visuals from your catalog and settings
  • Publish or schedule posts to platforms you connect
  • Enforce plan quotas and process subscriptions
  • Respond to support requests and send service-related notices
  • Detect abuse, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations
  • Understand aggregate usage so we can improve reliability and features

4. AI processing

To generate captions and images, we send relevant inputs you provide (such as product details, photos, style settings, and prompts) to AI processing systems operated by us or our subprocessors. Outputs may be stored in your account so you can review, edit, and schedule posts. Do not upload content you are not allowed to use or that you do not want processed for this purpose.

5. How we share information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers that help us host infrastructure, process payments, send email, store files, or run AI generation, under contracts that limit use of your data to providing services to us.
  • Connected platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram) when you authorize publishing or account connection.
  • Legal and safety recipients when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users or the public.
  • Business transfers if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, and remembering preferences (such as theme). Our marketing site may also use limited analytics cookies to understand traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the Service works.

7. Data retention

We retain account, catalog, and content data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward if needed for backups, dispute resolution, security, or legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us; some records may remain where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (for example, billing records).

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email support@aipilotpost.com . You can disconnect Meta accounts from within the Service or through Meta’s settings. You may also unsubscribe from non-essential marketing emails if we send them.

10. Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

11. International transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

12. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party platforms and providers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Please review those policies before connecting accounts or making payments.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
